Salary: Band E of the School Support Staff Spine (FTE £26,403 – £28,142, Actual Salary £22,950 – £24,461 per annum). A recruitment and retention allowance may be available for an outstanding candidate.
Contract Type: Full Time, Term Time Only + 2 INSET Days
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Wellbeing Officer to support the emotional, social, and physical wellbeing of our students. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils, families, and staff to provide pastoral support, promote positive wellbeing, and help create a safe and inclusive school environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide pastoral support to students, families, and staff.
* Promote positive wellbeing and mental health awareness.
* Deliver wellbeing programmes and activities for the school community.
* Collaborate with teachers and external agencies to support student needs.
* Maintain accurate records and reports of wellbeing interventions.
* Ensure compliance with DBS and school safeguarding procedures.
Qualifications
* Experience working with young people.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Attention to detail and enthusiastic approach to work.
* Enhanced DBS check.
