An opportunity has arisen for a hard-working individual to work within Basildon Councils Sheltered Housing team.
Basildon Council manages 47 sheltered housing schemes across the borough, each with communal facilities for residents. As an Administrative Officer, you will provide high quality support to the Sheltered Housing Management Team and maintain continuity of service by covering for Sheltere Housing Officers as required. Responsibilities include ordering and replenishing supplies to keep schemes well equipped and working closely with Housing Property Services to uphold Health & Safety standards while ensuring Council assets are managed effectively.
This role is vital in helping residents maintain their tenancies and live independently for as long as possible. We are seeking someone with strong organisational and administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive, flexible approach to supporting colleagues and residents. A commitment to delivering high quality services and ensuring sheltered housing schemes remain safe, welcoming, and well managed is essential.
