Job Title: Mortgage Co-ordinator
We have an exciting opportunity for an administration professional to join our busy team. It is essential that you have a real passion for offering a fantastic customer experience and the ability to deliver results within deadlines.
Excellent communication skills are crucial, as this role involves well-written emails and verbal contact with various parties to thoroughly respond to customer needs.
The role involves working in a large, fast-paced service centre providing administration support to Mortgage Consultants across our branch network. You will work closely with customers to progress mortgages from application to offer, enhancing the overall customer experience.
You will be responsible for:
* Handling incoming and outgoing calls with Mortgage Consultants, Negotiators, Customers, Lenders, Vendors, Solicitors, and Insurance Companies.
* Recording details accurately of all telephone conversations.
* Maintaining contact with relevant parties to ensure mortgage and insurance documentation is complete for the exchange of contracts.
* Ensuring cases are offered and all checks are completed for transfer to the On Risk and Completion team.
* Archiving files promptly.
Your experience and skills will include:
* Basic computer skills, with the ability to type accurately and quickly.
* Customer service experience, particularly over the phone.
* The ability to multitask in a busy, high-workload environment.
* Confidence and outgoingness as a team player.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
* Accuracy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
At all times, the Mortgage Co-ordinator must maintain a professional attitude and approach when dealing with all parties. Patience and sincerity are essential when assisting customers with limited mortgage knowledge, and an empathetic approach is necessary when customers become upset due to delays or issues.
