About The Role
As a Lecturer of Computing at EKC Canterbury College, you will teach, train, and assess students in various learning environments, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Your responsibilities include providing learner support to maximize their potential and leading designated study programmes or courses. You will also be involved in designing, delivering, and evaluating these programmes.
We support those new to teaching with ongoing training and coaching through our Teacher Academy, which includes digital skills support. If you lack teaching experience or qualifications but are passionate about sharing knowledge, we encourage you to apply.

About You
You will be highly organized, creative, and capable of planning and delivering engaging lessons. You should have strong interpersonal skills and experience in assessing and tracking student progress to tailor interventions. The ability to motivate learners across Level 1 to Level 3 programmes is essential. Experience in teaching or workplace training is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. A positive outlook, empathy, and strong classroom management skills are required.

Please note: All candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met. Internal applicants may qualify for a higher scale after completing one full academic year of teaching, subject to approval.
