The Role
Seeking a skilled Heat Pump Installer experienced in air and ground source heat pump systems, with a background in plumbing and heating, including underfloor heating and unvented cylinders. Projects span domestic, commercial, and new-build sectors in the North of England, offering variety and sustainability-focused work.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday, 8:00-5:00pm
Responsibilities
* Install heat pump systems per manufacturer specs and regulations.
* Perform maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Test and commission systems.
* Communicate with customers.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Follow safety protocols and local codes.
* Stay updated with industry trends and training.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified plumber, pipe fitter, or heating engineer with NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems (HWSS) regulations qualification.
* Experience with unvented cylinders, radiator circuits, underfloor heating.
* Experience installing air and/or ground source heat pumps.
* Familiarity with electrical works is preferred.
Additional Certifications (Preferred)
* HETAS, Gas Safe, F-Gas, or ventilation certifications.
* CSCS card.
