General Machine Operator Production / Manufacturing / Operations Reporting into the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing machinery to ensure efficient production and product quality. The role involves following safety procedures, meeting production targets, and carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance. These are full time permanent positions. Key Responsibilities Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Set up machines according to production specifications. Monitor machine performance during operation. Inspect finished products for quality standards and defects. Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment. Identify and report machine faults or production issues. Maintain accurate production and downtime records. Follow health & safety procedures and company policies. Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance teams, and colleagues. Ensure work areas are kept clean and organised. Meet daily production targets and deadlines. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience operating machinery or production equipment. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow instructions and technical procedures. Attention to detail and quality awareness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong awareness of workplace health and safety. Good time management and reliability.
