1. Providing 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with SEND
2. Supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH,munication and interaction needs, and additional learning needs
3. Assisting with the delivery of differentiated lessons planned by the teacher
4. Supporting pupils within the resource base and mainstream classrooms where appropriate
5. Assisting with emotional regulation, behaviour support, and social skills development
6. Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive engagement with learning
7. Supporting transitions between lessons and learning environments
8. Monitoring and feeding back on pupil progress to teachers and SEN staff
9. Assisting with personal care where required (training provided if necessary)
10. Supporting pupils in line with their EHCP targets
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
11. Experience working with children or young people (SEND experience desirable)
12. A calm, patient, and flexible approach
13. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
14. A genuinemitment to inclusive education
15. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential
