Mechanical Assembler
Salary: £34,000 per annum (£17.50 per hour)
Location: 10-minute drive from Uxbridge, Middlesex
Hours: Mon–Thurs 08:00–17:00 / Fri 08:00–Midday (37 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded engineering manufacturer near Uxbridge, assembling high-quality mechanical systems for a range of precision-engineered applications.
As a key member of the assembly team, you’ll be working from detailed technical drawings to build complex mechanical sub-assemblies, using a range of high-precision tools and components.

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities
* Assembling complex mechanical sub-assemblies using M3+ bolts and precision components
* Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
* Using a range of hand tools: ratchets, sockets, torque wrenches, hex keys, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
* Conducting self-inspections to maintain top-quality standards
* Logging work and tracking progress through MRP/ERP systems (SAP)
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Comfortable using hand tools for precise mechanical work
* Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and build procedures
* Basic computer literacy and familiarity with MRP/ERP software (SAP ideal)
