Fluor and Energy Materials, an Orbia business, is seeking a Laboratory Shift Analyst based in Rocksavage, Cheshire, UK.
Main Purpose
To provide quality control and analysis services for Medical Products manufacturing and packing operations and customers, ensuring process control, product quality, and compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements.
Shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights (7-7), followed by 8 days off. Shift cover may be required occasionally to support 24/7 manufacturing operations.
Main Responsibilities
* Accurately analyze, validate, and record results for samples from the medical products operation to ensure production processes and final product quality are within specified limits.
* Review and validate analyses performed by other analysts according to operational requirements.
* Prioritize work to meet business production, sales, and customer support targets.
* Investigate abnormal results and report findings to the Quality Control Team Leader, production personnel, or the Quality Assurance Team Leader as appropriate.
* Maintain laboratory and analysis equipment in accordance with cGMP standards.
* Ensure all sampling, analysis, and testing activities comply with cGMP and SHE standards.
Qualifications
* Minimum: HNC/HND in Chemistry.
* Desirable: Degree in Chemistry or related field.
Knowledge/Experience Required
* Experience working in a QC Laboratory, preferably one adhering to cGMP standards.
* Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
