1stglassuk is expanding and seeking a qualified and experienced Technical Surveyor to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the challenge of working on bespoke installations and has a strong technical background. You will be involved in surveying sites for new orders to assess project feasibility and ensuring all installations meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Site Surveying: Evaluate sites for technical feasibility once new orders are received.
* Reporting: Prepare detailed survey reports and create necessary sketches.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the processing department and sales department to address any variations from the original specifications and ensure these are agreed upon with customers.
* Design Finalization: Finalize designs and advise on the amount of materials needed to trim/finish the job off in a satisfactory manner along side the customers expectations.
* Communication: Maintain clear communication with installers to resolve any site queries.
Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Surveyor, particularly with bespoke installations.
* Skills: Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and designs.
* Driving License: A full, clean UK driving license is essential due to the need for travel across West Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
