To complete a range of maintenance and cleansing activities required to ensure Cheshire east markets are clean, safe, and attractive places to visit.
1. To take responsibility for own workloads and using initiative whilst erecting and dismantling market stalls, keeping markets and surrounding areas clean, cleansing toilets and performing other general market duties.
2. Communicate and liaise with members of the public, stakeholders, partners and other staff members, in a positive way providing high levels of customer care and service.
3. Ensure completion of appropriate documentation relative to jobholder's post, i.e. timesheets, consumable orders and work records relating to Health and Safety
4.To ensure prompt and effective response to client and/or staff complaints and to apply appropriate customer care techniques at all times.
5. Collection of rent at the Outdoor Market, recording the amounts paid by each individual trader and banking the income using defined procedures
6.All tasks to be completed whilst complying with relevant Health and Safety legislation, statutory legislation, council policy and adopted codes of practice
