An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated person to join our Facilities Management Team at Hampshire County Council.

The Role:
Team work is an essential part of the role, enabling the team to be robust in providing an excellent standard of customer service.
What you’ll do:
1. Being the first point of contact for those arriving, arranging for visitors to be collected, or directed to meeting rooms
2. Assist with enquires from staff, visitors and contractors
3. Carry out Health and Safety checks in the building
4. Sort Post and deliveries
5. Assist in completing statutory checks in our buildings and accurately recording that information
6. Respond to telephone calls in a professional manner
What we’re looking for:
We're looking for a polite, friendly and flexible individual to join our established FM team, who have the responsibility for welcoming both staff and members of the public. Being part of a professional team, you'll deliver excellent customer service to staff and visitors.
In your role you'll demonstrate good interpersonal skills, be adaptable and flexible in work style, be flexible and adaptable in work style and supportive to your colleagues and peers- have tact. To be able to support and communicate in various scenarios, tailoring your approach accordingly. You'll also have good IT skills. The role can be demanding in peak periods. With flexible working necessary to support other Facilities Management Teams as and when required.
Due to the duties involved in this role you'll need to be able to fulfil the moving / handling requirements as detailed in the Candidate Pack. The working week is 37 hours, - Monday to Thursday, and - on Friday.
Training will be provided to assist you in this role including First Aid and Manual Handling.
