We're currently working with a prominent Barnsley based business, who have an opportunity for a Credit Controller to join their well established team.
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly credit control department at their Barnsley Head office, reporting into the Assistant Credit Manager. This company are a market leader in their field and have continued to grow over recent years, further strengthening their position within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Controlling the collection of Key and non-Key accounts.
* Creating customer's applications for payment within Excel.
* Chasing payment from Accounts Departments.
* Cash allocation.
* Credit checks.
* Reconciliation of accounts.
* Collating paperwork for customer visits.
* Logging, resolving and clearing queries.
* Liaising with internal departments.
* Dealing with customers over the phone.
* Resolving complex pricing issues
Candidate requirements
* 2+ years experience working in credit control
* Experience in using spreadsheets.
* Strong communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills.
* A keen eye for detail as accuracy is important.
* A positive and flexible attitude.
