Job Description
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of Maths to join a successful and forward-thinking Maths faculty. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring and committed professional to teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including A Level.
You will be an outstanding practitioner with a passion for teaching and learning, dedicated to delivering an aspirational, engaging and challenging curriculum that enables all students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including A Level
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students
Create a positive, inclusive and high-achieving learning environment
Monitor, assess and support student progress effectively
Contribute to curriculum development within the Maths department
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice
Support students with appropriate challenge and personalised learning
Fulfil additional faculty responsibilities where applicable (with TLR)
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Ability to teach Maths up to A Level
Excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for teaching and learning
Ability to engage, enthuse and motivate students
Strong teamwork and independent working skills
Resilient, reflective and forward-thinking approach
Commitment to the highest standards of academic achievement
