What the role involves:
1. Taking responsibility for either a Year 1 or Year 2 class, depending on your skills and preference.
2. Delivering engaging, creative lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, and curiosity.
3. Using a combination of phonics, play-based, and structured learning to maximise pupil outcomes.
4. Collaborating with your year group partner teacher to share planning, resources, and ideas.
5. Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support learning at home.
6. Taking part in staff meetings, CPD, and wider school life.
