Job Description
Product Manager - Medical Devices
£55k-£65k + bonus
North West UK based
The Homecare market is growing fast.
Most product roles aren’t keeping up.
This role exists because a global medical device business wants someone to properly own its Homecare portfolio - not manage it by committee.
If you’ve ever felt frustrated by:
* products with real potential that don’t convert
* decisions driven by legacy rather than users or data
* being accountable without authority
…this is worth a look.
What the role actually involves
This is a global Product Manager role focused on Homecare and portable oxygen solutions, with increasing emphasis on connected technology and lifetime value.
You’ll be responsible for:
* setting and executing a clear product roadmap
* managing NPD, optimisation, and phase-out decisions
* working cross-functionally with commercial, regulatory, supply chain and R&D teams
* supporting key markets and accounts with credible product thinking
* helping reposition the portfolio around serviceability, intelligence and total cost of ownership
There’s real exposure, real influence, and travel of around 25%.
Why this is different
This isn’t about launching shiny products for the sake of it.
The opportunity here is to win on value, not noise - particularly as parts of the Homecare market reset. The business already has strong foundations; this role exists to turn that into sustainable growth.
Who this suits
You don’t need to tick every box, but you’ll likely have:
* 5+ years’ experience in Product Management within medical devices or healthcare
* end-to-end product ownership experience
* comfort operating in regulated, global environments
* strong commercial judgement and stakeholder skills
Experience in Homecare, oxygen, respiratory, connected devices or telehealth is useful, but not essential.
This will suit someone who wants ownership, pace, and influence, without corporate theatre.
