Are you an experienced maintenance professional who takes pride in creating safe, welcoming spaces? Sunshine Daisy Nursery, part of a leading group of early years day care settings, is looking for a Facilities Supervisor to oversee maintenance at our nursery in Hook, with regular support across our other nurseries located in Hampshire.
This is a varied role where your skills will directly contribute to providing safe and inspiring environments for young children to grow and learn.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain & Repair: Carry out preventative, remedial, and corrective maintenance.
* Decorate & Revamp: Undertake domestic redecoration, painting, and basic plastering.
* Tackle Repairs: Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, gardening, and hard landscaping tasks.
* Health & Safety: Assist with regular site checks and ensure compliance.
* Coordinate with Contractors: Support senior management when specialist contractors are required.
* Multi-Site Support: Sunshine Nursery will be your main base, with weekly support across our other nurseries.
Candidate Specification:
* Experienced Professional: Previous experience in maintenance or facilities.
* Driving Licence & Vehicle: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
* Independent & Team Player: Capable of working alone or as part of a team.
* Good Communicator: Confident liaising with staff, managers, and contractors.
* Positive Attitude: Professional, reliable, and proactive approach.
* Background Checks: Enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks required.
