Job description
This role is essential to ensuring that surfaces are appropriately prepped for painting and spraying, which is critical to maintaining the high-quality standards of our client's marine craft.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking
2. Ensuring all surfaces are free from defects before painting begins
3. Maintaining a clean and organised work space
4. Adhering to health and safety regulations while handling materials and equipment
5. Collaborating with the painting team to ensure smooth work flow
Job Requirements:
6. Experience in paint preparation, ideally within the marine industry
7. Strong attention to detail and quality
8. Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
9. Knowledge of health and safety practices related to paint prepping
10. Good communication skills
11. Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
Contract Details:
12. Contract duration: Initial 2 months
13. Hourly rate: Dependant on experience (c.£15.50-£17/h PAYE plus holiday pay)
14. 42 hour standard week
15. Based in a state of the art all weather build and repair facility
