Job Overview
We require a motivated and skilled individual to provide a quality clerical support to a busy department within the Women and Children’s Directorate. The post holder will be expected to undertake professional and confidential clerical duties within the Unit and have good working knowledge of word processing and Microsoft Office, together with general administrative skills.
Responsibilities
Duties are varied and will include reception duties, filing, photocopying, entering and retrieving information via computerised systems, liaising with other departments by telephone and face-to-face.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills with good interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise workload, have an approachable disposition and be used to working as part of a team.
* Flexibility with working hours required.
Training and Support
Training and support will be given to the successful applicant.

Work Hour Changes
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
