In this role, you’ll be able to work in one of our 49 pharmacies during holiday periods, with working hours flexible to work around your studies and availability. During these on-going placements, we will help you to get the work experience you need to aid you in qualifying as a Pharmacist. You will gain a real insight into community pharmacy, giving you the opportunity to study and learn whilst providing valued care to your local community. You’ll receive expert support and training so you can have the opportunity to get involved in talking to our customers, offering advice and observing the valuable services we offer to our patients. About You It isn’t just about experience or knowledge; we’re looking for Pharmacy Students with a genuine passion for customer service and who will be ambassadors for healthcare in our pharmacies. To be successful in joining our team in this role you’ll need to be studying towards master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm). You’ll also need to show us: A natural ability to build meaningful relationships with both patients and colleagues An upbeat, caring, and confident manner when serving and advising patients An enthusiasm and talent for problem solving, eager to take on new challenges and experiences A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks, using your own initiative and teamwork skills to aid you Experience of working in a retail background and using a stock control system would be desirable but not essential as full training is provided These placements are also a great opportunity for you to speak to us about your pre-registration year!
