We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hire Controller to join the team of a national company that supplies plant & tool hire equipment to the construction industry.

Job Title – Hire Desk Controller
Location – Glasgow
Salary – £30-32K / annum + bonus

Holidays - 25 days + Bank Holidays
Role:
* First point of contact for customer enquiries
* Responsible for receiving orders and collections of equipment.
* Calculating and supply of quotes
* Planning transport for deliveries and collections
* Proactively work jointly with all departments
* Dealing with damages, calculating costs, liaising with customers regarding damages and ensuring payment is received
* Full training on product range will be given
Requirements:
* Able to prioritise and deal with issues in a timely manner.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Has the capacity to work autonomously and to prioritise their workload to meet strict deadlines.
* Proficient with Microsoft packages.
* Has strong business awareness and attention detail in every aspect of their work
