JOB DESCRIPTION
We are a rapidly growing company in the Energy Efficiency sector, delivering retrofit solutions into communities across the UK to improve the energy efficiency of homes.
Community Home Solutions Ltd works with Local Authorities, Utilities, and Third Sector organisations to source funding and deliver retrofit solutions to domestic properties, predominantly in the Midlands.
We are now looking for a Video Content Creator to join our team, to plan, shoot, edit and deliver engaging video content that promotes the success of our retrofit projects and supports brand growth across digital platforms.
From case study videos and social media reels to on-site filming and interviews, this role plays a key part in telling the CHS story through high-quality visual content. You will help raise awareness of our services, showcase the benefits of our retrofit works, and create marketing materials that inspire and inform stakeholders and customers alike.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is creative, self-driven and passionate about producing content that has social and environmental impact.
This role is office based with travel required across the Midlands for filming days.
We are looking for someone who is a great team player, technically skilled, and confident managing projects end-to-end – from idea to published content.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plan, shoot, and edit video content that promotes CHS retrofit projects, community impact, and customer success stories.
· Create engaging short-form video for use on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
· Interview clients and stakeholders for case studies and on-site video testimonials.
· Develop and maintain a content plan in line with the wider marketing strategy.
· Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, messaging, and visual identity.
· Work with internal teams to identify and schedule filming opportunities.
· Add captions, animations, music, and voiceovers where required.
· Manage video file storage and backups in an organised way.
· Stay up to date with video and social media trends and implement them into CHS campaigns.
· Support with visual assets for bids, presentations, and community events.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS
· Essential: Proven experience in video filming, editing and content creation (showreel/portfolio required)
· Essential: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar software
· Essential: Experience creating content for social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok
· Skilled & confident with camera, audio and lighting equipment
· Strong storytelling skills and attention to detail
· Experience in motion graphics and animation (e.g. After Effects)
· Familiarity with branding guidelines and creating assets for digital marketing
· Comfortable filming on-site and interacting with customers and contractors
· Excellent communication and time management skills
· Full, clean driving licence (for on-site filming across the Midlands)
· Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads
· Flexible attitude
· Desirable: Knowledge of the energy efficiency, sustainability or housing retrofit sector

LOCATION

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,500.00-£29,000.00 per year
