We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Assistant Accountant for our client in B18,Birmingham.
Main duties and responsibilities for the Assistant Accountant role:
* Bookkeeping and Data Entry
* Payroll Cover & Management
* Financial Reporting & Key Control Accounts Reconciliation
* Compliance and Regulations
* General Administration
* Work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Work alone and as part of a team
* Confidently conduct meetings and telephone calls with customers and suppliers
* Conduct and attend team meetings
Main requirements for the Assistant Accountant role:
• Relevant experience of working within a financial and accounting environment is essential
• Educated to degree level in a related field, ideally holding or working towards a professional accountancy qualification
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal team members and external stakeholders
• Excellent computer proficiency (including Excel)
Working hours for the Assistant Accountant role Monday-Friday 8.45am to 12.45pm
