We are looking for an experienced and passionate Living Wellbeing Coach to work as part of our Derbyshire Recovery & Peer Support Services.

We’re Rethink Mental Illness, a leading charity provider of mental health services in England. We support thousands of people through our groups, services, policy, campaigns and advice and information. Our work supports us in delivering on our mission: “A better life for everyone severely affected by mental illness.”

The service is Derbyshire Recovery & Peer support, which has a team that provides recovery services to people in the community and supports them in long term recovery through Peer activity. An extension of this is the living well Hubs which is in collaboration with the NHS Trust underpinning this is Peer support development and training. The service has an over service contract manager and managers located in areas across Derbyshire who support teams of coaches including those with lived experience.

How you will make a difference

You are a dynamic, knowledgeable person who will join a team of mental health Wellbeing Coaches in our Derbyshire Living Well service. This role is part of a team that covers Amber Valley.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to truly make a difference to the future of mental health support offered in Derbyshire.

The role involves supporting and motivating individuals to improve their mental health by helping them develop self-care skills, build resilience and better utilise community resources.

We’re looking for an individual, who is motivated by the potential to make a difference to the lives of people and their communities. A strong understanding of individuals with multifaceted needs and complex mental illness is required for this role. A resilient individual that can face challenges on a daily-basis.
