Overview
We have a senior role available at our Halesworth office.
We are looking for a qualified/part qualified or experienced accountant who has at least 2 years experience in an accountancy practice. You will ideally have already completed the AAT qualification or similar.
Must have good grades, be well organised, motivated and have good computer skills. Prior use of excel is essential, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, FreeAgent etc desirable.
This is not a position where you can work from home as you will need to will be available to meet clients and potential new clients. We operate in a friendly and efficient office environment.
Monday - Friday 9am - 5.15pm
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Accounts preparation and finalisation for Limited Companies, Sole Traders and partnerships.
* Corporate, Personal and Partnership Tax Computations and Returns.
* Bookkeeping.
* VAT returns.
* Payroll.
* Helping less senior staff and reviewing their work.
* Dealing directly with clients and HMRC.
* Other duties as requested.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
