We are looking for passionate and dedicated university students who understand the National Curriculum well. This is an excellent opportunity to earn supplemental income while making a positive impact on young peoples lives. We invite you to join our welcoming tutoring team at WMTH in Stoke-on-Trent.
Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors to provide in-person support to school-aged learners (KS3 to A-Level) on weekends. We would love to receive your application if you have achieved strong grades in your subjects.
Responsibilities
* Supporting students with their academic work in Mathematics, English, or Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
* Fostering confidence and helping learners achieve their goals.
* Delivering engaging lessons and providing personalised support to meet each student’s unique needs.
* Utilising innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
* Collaborating with the management team to maintain the quality of the curriculum.
* Preparing students for examinations through focused revision, practice exercises, and mock assessments.
Qualifications
* Are currently enrolled in a university program.
* Have demonstrated academic excellence in your subjects.
* Possess qualities such as confidence, patience, and excellent communication skills.
* Are available to work on weekends.
* Enjoy interacting with children and teenagers.

WMTH is a community-focused tutoring centre in Stoke-on-Trent that provides in-person academic support to students from Key Stage 3 through A-Level. We specialise in Mathematics, English, and Science and are committed to fostering a supportive environment where students can build confidence and achieve their academic goals. We work with university students and subject matter experts who have a firm grasp of the National Curriculum and are dedicated to supporting the success of young people.
