Key Responsibilities
* Support commercial performance and the restaurant’s targets, including driving average check value, team incentives, and guest experience.
* Understand business results (sales, costs, covers, guest satisfaction) and take action to improve performance.
* Optimise covers through effective diary management.
* Deliver high-quality Food & Beverage to satisfy guest needs and social media feeds.
* Champion sustainability goals through waste management and reduction of single-use items.
* Lead shifts to deliver exceptional guest experiences with authentic, personalised service and strong product knowledge.
* Develop relationships with customers, recognise repeat guests, preferences and celebrations to improve loyalty.
* Act on customer feedback to improve service and resolve complaints; manage online reputation (e.g., TripAdvisor, Google).
* Ensure all dietary requirements are treated seriously and accurately.
* Foster an inclusive working environment and develop the restaurant team through training and recognition.
* Plan daily shift duties to align with forecasted volumes, minimise overtime, and communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders.
* Ensure operations comply with health, safety, hygiene, licensing, and food safety regulations; manage opening/closing procedures and financial reconciliations.
* Manage inventory, stock control, and purchasing following hotel guidelines.
Qualifications
* Inspirational leader with at least two years’ experience in a similar role.
* London hotel and high-street restaurant experience is an advantage.
