The Company: Our client, a leading independent distributor of Chemicals, is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their small but busy and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring that sales orders are processed swiftly, efficiently, and accurately
2. Handling sales inquiries as well as maximizing further sales opportunities
3. Learning technical and sales information on key products
4. Making necessary calculations to ascertain exact order requirements
5. Checking available stock and ordering as necessary from suppliers
6. Booking and planning deliveries
7. Managing and using information held on CRM software
The Ideal Candidate:
A proactive and organized individual with the ability to multitask, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Requirements:
1. Educated to GCSE minimum including English and Maths
2. IT competent, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
3. Familiarity with computerised sales order and stock control software, such as QuickBooks or Sage
4. Familiarity with CRM software
5. An understanding of the importance of delivering exceptional customer service
6. A helpful and friendly attitude and flexibility in approach
7. Effective time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
8. Additional skills: Experience in Sales Order Processing, Administrative tasks, or Customer Service
9. Own means of transport is essential
