We're playing a key role in the UK's transition to net zero.As our project portfolio continues to grow, we're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered successfully from both a commercial and financial perspective.The RoleAs Quantity Surveyor, you'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, helping to ensure projects are commercially robust, financially controlled and positioned for success.Youll work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and the wider commercial team, providing valuable insight, managing risk, protecting margins and supporting project delivery from award through to completion.Whether its producing accurate forecasts, managing subcontractors, valuing variations or supporting NEC contract administration, youll be a trusted commercial partner helping our teams make informed decisions every step of the way.What You'll Be DoingManaging project costs, valuations and overall commercial performancePreparing and maintaining cash flow forecasts and cost/value reports (CVRs)Supporting the administration of NEC contracts, including compensation events and change managementPreparing applications for payment and ensuring timely invoicingValuing and managing variations and additional worksReviewing and authorising subcontractor applications and paymentsDrafting and managing subcontract orders and purchase ordersMonitoring project forecasts and identifying commercial risks and opportunitiesBuilding positive relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholdersWorking closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget and programmeMaintaining accurate commercial records and project documentationWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who enjoys being close to projects, understands the importance of commercial control and takes pride in delivering high quality work.
