Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced International Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic advisor and operational partner to the International Heritage Program. This role is instrumental in driving organizational effectiveness, supporting international growth, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and HR best practices across a diverse range of countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and other key international locations.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of international HR practices, demonstrate strong cross-cultural fluency, and excel in aligning HR strategies with broader business objectives. This position requires a proactive and collaborative professional who can operate effectively in complex, matrixed environments.


Hire Type: full-time

Schedule: Flexible Schedule; must be available to work hours to accommodate team members in the Middle East and Europe

Location: Remote – Home office (based in the UK)


Duties/Responsibilities

* Serve as a strategic HR advisor to leadership within the International Heritage Program, contributing to business planning, workforce development, strategic hiring, and organizational change initiatives
* Partner with global and regional HR teams to design and implement scalable, compliant, and culturally appropriate HR programs and policies
* Support talent management strategies including workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development
* Lead or support the deployment of employee engagement initiatives and organizational culture-building efforts tailored to international contexts
* Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in countries of operation, including Saudi Arabia, the UK, and others, mitigating risks and advising on regulatory changes
* Provide guidance and hands-on support in the resolution of employee relations issues, conflict management, and disciplinary actions, ensuring consistency with company values and policies
* Collaborate with global compensation, benefits, and mobility partners to support equitable and competitive reward strategies for international staff
* Contribute to HR reporting, analytics, and insights to inform data-driven decision-making and strategic planning
* Foster a culture of inclusion, equity, and respect across all international operations
* Identify and resolve insurance issues to ensure subcontractors are covered and compliant
* Ensure all employees and contractors are appropriately authorized to work in applicable countries and maintain supporting documentation
* Update employment contracts to comply with country-specific employment laws and practices, with support from EOR platform and legal counsel as needed
* Partner with Operations and HR leads ensure alignment with regional business goals, HR processes, and workforce planning
* Create and implement a resource plan that optimizes staffing to meet workload demands
* Serve as the liaison between vendors and subcontractors to fulfill current and future contract needs
* Apply legal knowledge to review and edit complex contracts and agreements
* Support modifications to contracts and conduct analysis of vendor performance and contract alternatives
* Manage vendor and contractor invoicing
* Perform other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Juris Doctor, International Business)
* 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, Legal Administrator, or similar role
* 2+ years of experience in international human resources or employment law
* 2+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating contracts
* Exceptional command of English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities across regions
* Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
* Excellent organizational and documentation skills
* Solutions-oriented approach and strong coaching style
* Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across functional and geographic teams


Preferred Skills

* Advanced degree and/or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD)
* Exceptional command of Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills
* 5+ years experience with international employee relations and employment law
* 5+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating contracts
* Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR regulations in at least two international regions, particularly the Middle East (with emphasis on Saudi Arabia) and Europe (particularly the UK).
* Proven experience supporting global or regional HR operations in complex and culturally diverse environments.
