Chef on a Vineyard, a unique opportunity, civilised hours, providing a great work life balance

Wraxall Vineyard is looking for a Chef to join our Head Chef and experienced Hospitality Team, working closely together to deliver fabulous food from local produce in a sharing style and the best customer experience for all our visitors.

The is a unique location and a fun and relaxed place to work, where we take on every new challenge with a smile March to December is when we are at our busiest, and during the Summer months we welcome our highest visitor numbers and host the majority of our Private Events.

This is an opportunity for someone to build upon and develop their career, using quality seasonal Somerset produce.

Our clients are passionate about food and wine and return over and over again to Wraxall to share, celebrate and enjoy

Eat & Drink at Wraxall: The View & The Nook

* The View – restaurant, bar, events and parties
* The Nook - rustic Private Dining with open fire cooking – May to October
* Exceptional food inspired by Somerset.

This role would work for any level of experience providing you have:

· Accredited Chef qualification preferred but not essential.

· Food hygiene level 2 qualification preferred but not essential.

· Proven experience in a commercial kitchen.

· Keen to grasp the opportunity and wanting to learn more.

· Thrive when working as an integral member of a team.

· Great communicator.

· Someone who is passionate about cooking and takes pride in their work

The role will include but not limited to:

Preparing Food.

Supporting the Head Chef and work well in a team.

Cleaning the kitchen

Organizing stock

* Wine (WSET 1 and/or 2 qualification).

Working Week:

4-5 shifts a week with 2 consecutive days off.

Zero Hour contract

Some weekend / evening work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50 per hour
