role:
Reporting to the Major Projects Manager, this role is responsible for delivering site capital projects and improvement works, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
It also involves supporting ongoing site development and efficiency improvements

responsibilities:
Define and document project scope, objectives, and expected outcomes
Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to allocated resources
Recruit, train, and coach the project team, internally or externally, as needed
Assess resource requirements, acquire them efficiently, and manage utilization effectively
Develop work plans tailored to team members expertise and project needs
Provide regular project updates to stakeholders
Create and manage contracts with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery
Monitor project execution and identify opportunities for improvement
Stay informed on industry best practices, techniques, and standards, encouraging team adoption
Track project performance to ensure short-term milestones and long-term objectives are met
Maintain comprehensive project documentation
Undertake risk management to mitigate potential issues
Capital Projects Engineer
requirements:
H.N.C. Level or degree in an Engineering discipline
HND Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
Proficient at managing time and resources
Ability to draw up detailed project plans and schedules
Proven leadership skills
Capable of managing crises as and when they arise
Adept at negotiating internally as well as externally
Strong multi-disciplined technical knowledge and experience in mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering systems for cleanrooms & semiconductor equipment.
Experience with software programs such as AutoCAD and MS Office
Solid understanding of cleanroom technology, M&E building services and new techniques
Strong background in management of external contractors and compliance
Strong project planning, coordination, and integration skills with the ability to deliver on time and within budget, handling multiple projects at any given time
Good Knowledge of H&S compliance / risk assessment / CDM2015
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness and ability to be hands on when needed
