This is a part-time, temporary role supporting a Year 4 student with ADHD. About the Role As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to a bright and academically capable student who requires assistance with managing impulsive behaviours. Your role will involve: • Preempting and managing situations through keen observation and behaviour management strategies. • Facilitating regular movement breaks to help the student stay focused. • Supporting the student during lunch breaks to ensure a positive experience. • Encouraging independence while fostering a nurturing and safe environment. This role requires someone who is highly observant, adaptable, and able to use their initiative to create a supportive learning experience.
