Job Title: Supervisor – Days

Shift Pattern: 0700 – 1900 (Days) (4 On / 4 Off Rota)

Hours: Full Time

Rate of Pay: £[Specify Rate]

Type: Full Time / Permanent

Reporting To: Site Operations Manager

ABM Facility Services UK is seeking to recruit Supervisors on a full-time, permanent basis for a high-profile client in the Wynyard area. The successful candidate will support the Site Operations Manager and Senior Supervisor in managing the contract's operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The role requires leading and engaging a team to deliver janitorial and waste removal services in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including welfare areas, social areas, and production floors. Main Duties & Responsibilities:

* Lead and support the janitorial and waste removal team in a warehouse environment, ensuring effective and efficient duties.
* Oversee high-quality janitorial services across various client areas, including washrooms, break rooms, social areas, reception, offices, locker rooms, and production floors.
* Manage waste handling processes, ensuring proper segregation and transportation readiness.
* Train team members in the use of cleaning equipment, maintaining safety and equipment standards.
* Respond promptly to spillages and client callouts.
* Communicate effectively with team members and line managers.
* Ensure team compliance with PPE and health & safety policies.
* Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
* Undergo full training on cleaning methods and equipment; training will be provided.

Person Specification:

* Basic disclosure clearance and knowledge or willingness to learn health and safety requirements.
* Knowledge of cleaning methods or willingness to learn.
* Willingness to undergo DBS check and drug/alcohol testing.
* Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
* First Aid at Work certification.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

* Follow company policies and report deficiencies.
* Use equipment and PPE properly.
* Report issues or training needs to management.
