The role
* Providing conveyancing quotes and acting as a first point of contact for incoming enquiries
* Opening new files and maintaining accurate records throughout the transaction
* Handling client queries by telephone and in person, and giving regular updates to clients, estate agents, and brokers
* Progressing matters through to completion, post‑completion, file closing and archiving
* Undertaking dictation and assisting fee earners with drafting and administrative support
* Obtaining AML documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
* Updating LMS, Lender Exchange, and the case management system
* Submitting registrations and dealing with requisitions
* Working within the CQS framework
* Scanning incoming post, allocating documentation to fee earners, and maintaining physical and electronic files
* Managing client and office ledgers and undertaking general administrative duties
* Attending Property Department meetings and firm‑wide meetings as required
* Occasionally working from other offices when necessary
You
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Residential Conveyancing department
* Sound understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to post‑completion
* Working knowledge of LMS, Lender Exchange, and Land Registry procedures
* Excellent client care skills and a confident, professional telephone manner
* Clear and effective communication skills
* Strong organisational and administrative ability
* High accuracy and attention to detail
* Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Windows, and case management systems (Tikit advantageous)
* A reliable team player with a proactive, positive approach
* Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
