We are currently recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Campsie. This is a temporary to permanent position, with an initial 16-week temporary period and the opportunity to secure a permanent role thereafter. Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:00pm Key Responsibilities: Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for the transportation of goods to and from designated locations Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time and in line with company schedules Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures Secure loads safely and ensure compliance with all transport and safety regulations Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and records Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers Adhere to all tachograph and driver hours regulations Support loading and unloading where required What We Need From You Valid Class 1 (CE) driving licence Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card Previous HGV driving experience, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment Good knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulations Strong reliability and time management skills Flexibility to support operational needs when required What We Will Offer You Weekly pay A minimum of 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) Pension Scheme Opportunity to secure a permanent position after 16 weeks
