We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Conference and Operations Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality events at our client’s dynamic venue. They will oversee all operational aspects of conferences and banqueting, manage and inspire a dedicated team, and ensure everything runs exceptionally.
The Role
1. They will be responsible for event logistics, inventory and supplier management, and will act as Duty Manager when needed. They’ll play a key role in driving service excellence and supporting the growth of our hospitality offering.
2. Lead, motivate, and support the conference and banqueting team to deliver consistently outstanding events and guest experiences, maintaining a 5-star service standard.
3. Oversee the day-to-day operations of events including setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all client requirements are fulfilled.
4. Effectively delegate tasks to supervisors and team members to ensure smooth event delivery.
5. Ensure full compliance with all legal and operational standards, including food hygiene, COSHH, health and safety, and alcohol licensing. Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records.
