Responsibilities & Duties
Employee Relations
* Ensuring HR related policies and procedures are current and compliant with employment legislation.
* Supporting with ER cases and HR queries.
* Liaising with ACAS for early conciliation.
* Supporting on employment tribunal work where required.
* Providing advice and guidance to employees and line managers on issues relating to employment issues.
* Advising line managers and co-ordinating with the Occupational Health provider to manage long term absence and ensure employees' mental and physical well-being is suitably supported throughout the employee life-cycle.
Learning and Development
* Identify training needs of employees.
* Coaching and developing people managers in HR related areas.
* Collaborate with the creation of a suite of HR training for people managers.
* Supporting on Talent Management and Succession Planning initiatives as appropriate.
* Support with the development of the People Assistant and HR Apprentice.
Resourcing
* Working with internal stakeholders to identify recruitment needs.
* Supporting the Talent Team with recruitment including attending assessment centres and creating job descriptions.
* Company ambassador at job fairs/recruitment events.
* Support managers on management of probation periods.
* Support on annual appraisals.
Comp and Bens
· Participate in Bonus and Incentive activities.
· Participate in employee benefits strategies.
· Participate in salary reviews and bench-marking exercises.
Ad Hoc Duties
· Support other team members and departmental tasks as required by the business.
· KPI reporting as required.
