Job Description
The Benefits Team is seeking to recruit a Benefits Officer responsible for the timely assessment and payment of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims.
Responsibilities include maintaining detailed and accurate records of benefit recipients and responding to customer inquiries via telephone, email, letter, and face-to-face contact.
Requirements
* Experience working in a busy financial environment
* Excellent record-keeping and communication skills
* 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications
Additional Information
Location of the post is at Port Talbot Civic Centre. The role requires an EU work permit.
