Overview
The unit is seeking to recruit an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to work within our multidisciplinary team to ensure successful delivery of trials. You will work closely with the Chief Investigator, other researchers and clinicians to ensure efficient and successful completion of the trial. The post holder will also be responsible for supervising the activities of other members of the research team.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate clinical trials to ensure timely and successful delivery in collaboration with the Chief Investigator and multidisciplinary team.
* Supervise and support the activities of other members of the research team.
* Apply knowledge to address complex problems and challenges in a clinical research context.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject, and/or significant experience as a clinical trial manager/coordinator.
* Proven track record of successful project management of clinical research.
* Experience working within multidisciplinary teams with strong problem-solving and knowledge-application skills.

The post is and opportunity to join the Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU) based at the University of Nottingham. NCTU is a rapidly growing UK Clinical Research Collaboration registered Clinical Trials Unit based in the School of Medicine. Our mission is to conduct high-quality multicentre clinical trials across a range of health areas and to conduct methodological work to improve trial design, conduct, analysis and reporting. NCTU has close links with NHS Trusts, universities and industry partners.
