50 Sport is a multi-award winning creative and social media agency in sponsorship and sport.

Our partner roster includes; FIFA (incl. FIFA Club World Cup 2025 & World Cup 2026), Ferrari Formula One Team, DHL Express, The Football Association, England Football, NBA, Qatar Airways, EPCR (Investec Champions Cup and Challenge Cup), Celsius, The Ryder Cup, Arsenal, LIV Golf, VGW, UBS and Wembley Stadium.

Due to a number of recent business wins and existing client demand, we are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and experienced agency Resource Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of all client work through the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Resource Manager, you will be instrumental in:

Resource Management

* Proactively manage and schedule all bookable internal resources (static design, motion design, creative concept, editorial, and production) on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis, looking ahead to forecast future needs.
* Effectively and efficiently allocate resources, aligning individual skill sets, availability, and career development goals with project requirements and deadlines.
* Work closely with the New Business team to allocate appropriate creative resources for pitches, proposals, and exploratory projects, ensuring we have the right talent to win competitive new business opportunities.
* Continuously monitor team capacity and workload, identifying potential bottlenecks or under-utilisation and proposing solutions to maintain optimal productivity.
* Proactively plan resource allocation in advance, accurately forecasting freelance requirements and their financial impact on project budgets.
* Effectively manage lieu and holiday to ensure timely recovery time while maintaining client and project momentum.

Timesheet Management and Reporting

* Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate completion of timesheets across all departments, linking resource allocation directly to project hours.
* Generate regular reports on resource utilisation, project profitability (in conjunction with Finance), and team efficiency, providing actionable insights to department heads and leadership.
* Champion the effective use of our timesheet and project management platforms to maintain data integrity and streamlined reporting.

Freelance and External Talent Management

* Manage the entire freelance booking process, from identifying specific skill gaps and project needs to vetting, contracting, onboarding, and offboarding freelance staff.
* Assist all departments with the recruitment and ongoing management of a robust freelance talent pool, fostering strong relationships with key external partners.
* Coordinate with freelancers and the Finance team to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments.
* Utilise your extensive network to complement agency resource in order to deliver a high-quality output, meeting the brief requirements

Workflow and Project Operations

* Act as the main point of contact between bookable resource (including Design, Motion, Editorial, and Production) and other departments (e.g., Client Services, Strategy, New Business), ensuring seamless communication.
* Provide weekly project updates to relevant stakeholders, highlighting progress, potential risks, and resource adjustments.
* Ensure all required project information, briefs, assets, and feedback are shared efficiently and in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
* Manage the internal creative operations outputs, including deck design for company updates, event invites/posters, office signage, and other internal communication materials.

Studio and Technical Support

* Work collaboratively with Production, Editorial, and Design teams to optimise our Media Asset Management (MAM) system, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and version control of all creative assets.
* Assist the IT + Facilities Manager with laptop and mobile phone setups, meeting room technical setups, and maintaining office workstations when required.
* Work with the IT + Facilities Manager to supervise technical support within the office, ensuring prompt resolution of IT issues affecting teams.
* Advise on strategies to boost output and streaming processes, such as leveraging AI tools and integrating software solutions to enhance productivity and creative quality across all departments.

About You:

We're looking for a highly organised and adaptable individual with:

* Significant experience (3+ years) in a dedicated Resource Manager, Traffic Manager, or Studio Manager role within a fast-paced creative/social agency.
* A strong understanding of the creative workflow and resource needs across diverse disciplines, including graphic design, motion graphics, creative concepting, editorial content creation, and video production.
* Exceptional organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritise effectively under pressure, and manage complex schedules.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with diverse internal teams and external freelancers.
* Advanced proficiency in timesheet and project management platforms (e.g., Paprika, Asana, Monday.com, Trello etc.) and a solid understanding of Adobe Creative Suite workflows.
* Creative problem-solving abilities, a proactive approach to process improvement, and a keen eye for efficiency gains.
* Familiarity with IT systems and basic troubleshooting procedures.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving agency environment.
