Your mission at LINDAL
Primarily to assist the Procurement Manager in the day-to-day running of the Purchasing function, using Materials
Management tools and skills.
Secondly, to foster Supplier Relationships, track performance and support the Customer Order Management function.
* Make cost-effective purchases and ensure we maintain an optimum level of inventory
* Raise Purchase Orders daily
* Provide accurate and timely management information when required to support the purchasing function
* Maintaining filing records electronically and paper copies (where necessary)
* Research potential vendors
* Track orders and ensure timely delivery
* Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
* Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
* Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
* Use of the ERP system to enter accurate data within good time
* Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
* Maintain the company pricing for stock
* Administration of RS Purchasing Manager portal
* Maintain order confirmations from suppliers
* Support the Procurement Manager with tasks, as required .

* Solid MS Office skills
* Thorough attention to detail
* Ability to be flexible and open to changes
* Working Knowledge of ERP systems
* Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
* Ability to multi- task
* Good Time management and prioritising skills
* Good Analytical skills
* Ability to establish and develop relationships with internal and external source
* Confidence on the phone
* Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
* Ability to meet multiple deadlines
* A Self-motivated Individual
* Experienced in a similar administrator or assistant role
* Educated to a good standard Including Maths and English
