About the role:
Responsible for maintaining and growing a portfolio of mail customers, ensuring full compliance with internal systems and maintaining customer records within our CRM.
1. Accountable for the performance of a corporate client portfolio.
2. Maintain and support all portfolio customers, ensuring they meet and exceed volume and revenue targets.
3. Manage service performance to exceed weekly and monthly SLAs.
4. Increase share of wallet from existing customers through development of all product lines – Presorted, unsorted, and international mail.
5. Ensure all customer contact is logged and updated within our Salesforce CRM system, including calls, visits, opportunities, and at-risk accounts.
6. Develop compelling commercial client propositions in response to market conditions.
7. Lead or support on bids and RFPs as required.
8. Negotiate client contracts and manage pricing reviews and amendments.
9. Provide timely and accurate revenue and volume forecasts.
10. Maintain strong relationships across all departments within DHL eCommerce UK.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Experience managing large contracts, ideally in mail or logistics.
2. Strong presentation skills.
3. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
4. Good analytical skills, especially in data pre-processing.
5. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
6. Strong planning and organizational skills.
7. Competency in using our operating systems and IT systems.
8. Understanding of DHL eCommerce UK Health and Safety requirements.
9. Full UK Driving Licence.
10. Self-motivated with proven ability to manage customers and opportunities across a large geographical area.
