Role: Service Delivery Manager – Public Sector Contract
Rate: Up to £650/day (Inside IR35)
Clearance: Active SC clearance required to start
Contract Duration: Until 31st July 2026
Location: London, Birmingham, or Glasgow
Working Model: Hybrid
* On-site requirement: 1 day per month at client site
* Quarterly planning event: Mandatory 2-day attendance in Birmingham
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery of managed service contracts within a public sector environment. You will act as the primary point of contact for service delivery, ensuring performance meets agreed SLAs, managing internal and external resources, and driving continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage service delivery to meet client SLAs, budgets, and quality standards
* Produce service reports and manage incidents, problems, and changes
* Liaise with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless service delivery
* Maintain strong client relationships and act as a point of escalation
* Monitor performance and customer satisfaction, implementing recovery plans as needed
* Oversee financial health of the contract, including revenue and cost management
* Lead service reviews and chair review meetings
* Support pre-sales and bid work for new or renewed service agreements
* Participate in out-of-hours service delivery management rota as required
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in service delivery management within the public sector
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Ability to manage complex service environments and third-party providers
* Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams
* Holds active SC clearance (Home Office level)
