Advert Band 6 Children’s Complex Care Nursing Care Co‑ordinator
An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Children's nurse to join an established team of Children’s Complex Care Nurses in Birmingham. This is a city wide service that offers personalised specialist nursing support to children and families with highly complex physical health needs, providing care in children’s homes, schools and other community locations throughout the week and 24 hours a day.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality nursing care according to agreed standards set and monitored.
* Develop rewarding therapeutic relationships with children and families in a community setting.
* Provide training and supervision to team members such as health‑care assistants, parents and family members, ensuring competence in meeting the care needs of specific children and young people.
* Participate in service developments and support the wider Specialist Nursing Service which includes Children’s Rapid Response, Children’s Palliative Care and the Children’s Community Nursing Team.

Qualifications
* RSCN or RN Child Branch
