Client Manager Role at Leading Regional Accountancy Practice

Your New Role
As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Managing an established portfolio of clients, overseeing and preparing accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships with varied turnovers.
* Producing statutory accounts, management accounts, tax, and VAT returns across sector-agnostic clients.
* Training and mentoring junior staff, with line management responsibility for 1–2 team members.
* Managing progress and billing targets, and maintaining communication with clients and Partners.
* Developing strong client relationships, providing insightful advice and guidance.
* Collaborating across the firm to ensure high-quality service and identifying opportunities for up-selling.
* Participating in business development activities, including pitching for work and attending networking events.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience managing a large client portfolio within practice.
* Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff.
* ACA/ACCA qualification.
* Strong knowledge of accountancy software and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Motivation to learn and progress professionally.
