Our client, a luxury house builder, is looking to take on a recent school or college leaver to join them as a Technical Apprentice. In this role, the successful candidate will support the technical team in delivering high-quality residential developments. This role provides hands-on experience in planning, design coordination, and site support, while learning the technical processes that ensure compliance with building regulations and company standards. Office based, Monday to Friday. This offers a great opportunity for someone who is eager to start their career, learn new skills, and grow within the company. Key Responsibilities Assist the technical team in preparing and reviewing site layouts, house type drawings, and technical details. Support coordination between architects, engineers, and site teams to resolve design and construction issues. Learn and apply building regulations, NHBC standards, and health & safety requirements. Help maintain accurate technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Attend site visits to understand construction processes and monitor technical compliance. Participate in training sessions and complete apprenticeship coursework. Provide administrative support for technical approvals and planning submissions. Skills & Competencies Interest in construction, architecture, or engineering. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. Good communication and IT skills (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus). Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications GCSEs or equivalent in Maths, English, and Science (minimum). Interest in house building and technical design. No prior experience required; full training provided.
