We are working with an esteemed national law firm who are seeking a Senior Associate to join their Employment law practice within their London office.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, advising clients on a diverse range of employment relations advice, employment tribunal litigation, and transactional support. The candidate’s role will encompass all aspects of employment matters, including advising clients on day-to-day queries, defending WRC claims made against employers, providing transactional support, and advising employers on all aspects of industrial action.
The candidate will support the firm’s highly regarded client base, focusing mostly on employer clients, on a wide range of both contentious and non-contentious matters. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
* 4+ PQE;
* Strong background in employment law matters, including transactions, within a medium to large international or City firm;
* Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
* Outstanding academics;
* Technically excellent;
* Negotiation skills;
* Willingness to become involved in business development;
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
