Role Overview
This position, within a friendly and experienced finance team, will focus on ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the accounts receivable function. The core responsibilities include:
1. Managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including raising sales ledger invoices and documentation
2. Credit control
3. Administration of banking and cash transactions and reconciliations
4. Leading the application of third-party income through funding
5. Assisting the Finance Director and Management Accountant with ad-hoc projects
6. Providing ad-hoc support to the purchase ledger team
Candidate Profile
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant with over 12 months of general finance experience, either part or fully AAT qualified, or qualified by experience. The role demands exceptional organisational skills and a methodical approach. The company values a modern, forward-thinking attitude towards technology, with proficiency in Sage, MS Excel, and MS Office applications being essential.
