An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bradgate Education Partnership, working at Stafford Leys Primary School as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis for 32.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
The Higher Level Teaching Assistant is responsible for providing teaching and learning support to our pupils and teachers within the school by providing high quality education. The successful candidate will predominantly teach whole classes of children in all year groups, across the school but the role will also involve supporting children in smaller groups, or on a 1:1 basis, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This role is a rewarding one with a successful candidate having the opportunity to gain more experience in the classroom, and work with a supportive team.

The ideal candidate will:
•Hold the HLTA qualification (or equivalent)
•Have experience in a classroom environment
•Have experience of supporting SEND in an educational setting
•Have the motivation and passion for being part of a successful school team
•Have good literacy and numeracy skills
•Have the ability to contribute to the progression of learning
